Now that I have been in the US for almost two months, I think I am clear of malaria--woohoo! Anyone who traveled with me was probably annoyed with my obsession with screened windows in our hostels. The decision not to take anti-malaria pills in CR may or may not have been a wise one.

Nothing a few cans of insanely high percentage DEET can't fix!
Except I now fear that my high exposure to DEET will probably turn me into a mutant.
Oh well.

Dude almost no one took their malaria pills in our program and I think we all did fine. Did I tell you that I got a BOTFLY!? It's a cool story... I think. Alright see ya in school.
